THANK YOU everyone who put their shoulders to it and helped CAP plant 500 trees in Somerset. The project was carried out thanks to the Woodland Trust's brilliant MOREwoods scheme. This scheme is open to anyone with an acre of land who wants to get their hands into the soil and plant their own woodland. The Woodland Trust provided a local tree specialist to assess the land and help select appropriate tree and shrub species, and then delivered the 500 saplings ready for CAP to plant. 75% of the costs were funded by them. It is a faultless scheme & CAP woodland is currently thriving!
