3000 CAP Trees Planted at Alladale Wilderness Reserve, Scotland

We're delighted to say that in June 2021 our partners at Mossy Earth planted 3000 CAP trees at Alladale Wilderness reserve. The trees were a mixture of Scots pine, silver birch, alder, willow, juniper and hazel. Once established they will provide welcome habitat for the residents of Alladale which include red squirrels, pine martens, otters, badgers and soon, capercaillie and wild cat. Over the course of their lifetimes these trees also have the potential to absorb 750 tonnes of carbon dioxide.

It's a fantastic achievement, thank you to all our funders who have made this happen.
