* Co2e: Carbon dioxide (Co2) is the dominant greenhouse gas and is emitted whenever we burn fossil fuels in homes, vehicles, factories & power stations. Other greenhouses gases like methane & nitrous oxide are also present but occur in smaller quantities and with higher potencies. To avoid confusion, a carbon footprint is expressed in terms of carbon dioxide equivalent (Co2e) and represents the total climate change impact of all greenhouse gases caused by an item or activity.
